RIT is hosting a panel event on May 29 about the Channels to Pipes program which the Trust undertook from 1968-1977. This is part of the SA History Trust History Festival which is an annual festival that highlights local history and important events in the history of South Australia
There will be a panel, Ray Najar, Phil Sims and Robert Tucker, who will talk about the program and how it affected the Renmark community. The program was ground-breaking and resulted in an increased pumping efficiency far in excess of expectations.
Come and hear about the program and look at the display of maps and photos which bring the program to life.
The event will be held at the Renmark Paringa Council library, Renmark. Bookings are essential.
Please ring the library on 8586 5544 or text 0499 681 556.
