The Paroo Street site has been split into two site classifications. In 2016, Site A, which is the northernmost section, contained black box trees, lignum, common reed, samphire and smooth heliotrope.
Non local eucalyptus, KI tea tree, cooba, lignum, common reed, smooth heliotrope, and variable groundsel were found on site B. This site is adjacent to Johnsons Waterhole.
After three years of watering in the past four years, there has been significant growth of native flora both on and adjacent to the floodplain.
