On 15 July 2026, the Department for Environment and Water (DEW) announced that the Class 3 (High Security) water allocation for the 2026-27 water year will be 100 percent.
As the projected minimum allocation announced on 15 April 2026 was greater than 50%, the carryover of unused allocations from 2025-26 will not be available in the 2026-27 water year.
